A nice article listing some of the new things in the Cotswolds.
The Telegraph - Cotswolds summer holidays guide: the best new attractions, by Harriet O'Brien, 05 Feb 2015
Expert advice on the top new activities, hotels, restaurants and attractions for breaks in the Cotswolds in 2015, including Winston Churchill anniversary celebrations, a new Soho House hotel, and walking routes through traditional villages
I am happy to see that they mention my friend Andrew's Cotswold Walks for booking your walk on the Cotswold Way.
I read another article about the "new" Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester (in an historic building in the town center) and it said they have an ancient Roman mosaic under glass in the lobby. I will drop in to see that soon!
The Jolly Diner is on the A419 from Cirencester to Stroud, just before you drop down into the Golden Valley. It used to be a petrol station and is now a very good local food shop and cafe.
They also mention a celebration of Wool in Witney. I will have to check that out. It is associated with nearby Cotswold Woollen Weavers - I haven't been there in 25 years! Must get over to that side of the Cotswolds soon.
