Changes to some vacation rental agencies

I have been checking all my links on the Vacation Rentals pages and have come across a few agencies that have gone out of business.

Alice Tetelman and Martin Wenick retired and no longer run Villas Italia.

Suzanne B Cohen died earlier this year and her agency is now Villa Europe, with some of the same staff. They now have properties only in Italy. Previously they represented Rural Retreats for the UK. This was the first agency we used for Italy, booking in 1996. We had two dreadful places from her which is one of the reasons I started SlowTrav - I wanted to find good places for us

The website for the US agency Domani is not there.

I wish Alice and Martin well. My first villa rental in Italy was through them; it was a "needle in a haystack" search because of the large number in our group and the required configurations of beds and baths, but they got it done and we had a wonderful vacation.
