Taghazout Surf Souls

Hi everyone!
I’m currently based in Taghazout, a small coastal town in Morocco that’s really become my home over the past few years. Winter here is something special mild temperatures, lots of sunshine, and the sound of waves never too far away. While so many places are bundled up in coats and gray skies, Taghazout stays bright and laid-back all through the colder months.
It’s funny people often think of Morocco as a summer destination, but for me, winter is actually the best time to be here. Mornings start sunny, the beach isn’t too crowded, and the pace of life feels just right.
That said, I’m starting to plan a little summer getaway to Spain this year thinking about somewhere coastal, maybe the north to escape the heat. If anyone has tips for small towns or less touristy spots, I’d love to hear them!
Always enjoy reading about everyone’s adventures here such a great way to keep the travel spirit alive, even when staying put.
Warm wishes from the Atlantic,
Ayoub
