Character Cottages - Castle Mews
1bed/1bath

Date: September 2017 - 3 nights
We spent 3 nights here over a weekend in September. Castle Mews is a very nice cottage in a good location. It is small but well organized and comfortably furnished so it does not feel small. It is located behind the shops on Castle Street (behind the Thai restaurant). Once you walk down the alley to it, you no longer notice the shops or hear the restaurant. It is on the end of a row of 3 or 4 cottages. They look historic but I was told they were built in the last 20 years. It is quiet and there is a nice small garden.
The kitchen is small with a 2 burner stovetop, but it worked well for us. There is no washer/dryer. I appreciated that the bedding and towels were fragrance-free - no heavy laundry scents.
There is no parking, but there are paid lots nearby. Cirencester can get crowded on weekends but we had no problems parking.
