No, but I would have been shocked if they would have had Golosario listed. It's a reference book rather than a book of travel writing.

Me neither, but than I'm not a fan of this sort of travel book and usually end up disappointed.

Certainly the Stevenson (I did an audio reading of it for Librivox) - there's a recognised Grande Randonnée route following his, and plenty of people undertake it (too much like hard work for me).

I lke Bryson's books, but haven't read the Australian one (IIRC, Germaine Greer took him to task over various things she regarded as inaccurate or unfair, but I wouldn't know the rights and wrongs).

Some other writers I have enjoyed (for vicarious rather than real travelling): Robert MacFarlane, Jan Morris, Eric Newby, John Hillaby, Jonathan Raban, Adam Nicolson.

I have Travels with a donkey. I agree with Karen. I have a large collection of French cookbooks, some of which have a surprising amount of regional information. My favourite is Cooking and Travelling in South west France by Stephanie Alexander. A lovely book.
