Foligno--Giostra della Quintana

Anyone with experience attending this festival in Umbria? I'd love to get to the parade on Saturday
September 16th. The website is full of description, but little practical information. I assume tickets are needed for the Giosta on Sunday?

I haven't been there. On the site in Italian, there are the links Info e Prenotzaioni > Biglietti, but much of the schedule on the site is for the June event, so make sure you aren't booking something in the past. Also it appears that it calls for payment by bank transfer and you'd get the tickets at "Will Call." I'd say that you'll be in Spello, close enough and early enough, to go by in person in advance.
