French menu apps

Pauline

Forums Admin
In his March Newsletter David Lebovitz recommends an app for French food terms - The A - Z of French Food. I bought it and we are trying it out. It seems like all you can do is search for words in French to get their definition. You can enter a partial word for a list. I like the way Dana's app for Italy works better (Italian Menu Decoder - see link in right sidebar).

What French menu apps do you use?

I have Patricia Wells app "The New Food Lover's Guide to Paris" and agree that her glossary was the most helpful during my trip to Paris in October.

I also have the Bon Appétit app that is quite good as it includes menu phrases, categories, and has an audio capability. Save your favorites.

Cameron, is PW's app similar to the printed glossary -- could you compare it to one of the ones I linked above? Thanks, Ann
