I sent off my application for an expedited new passport on Aug. 21, expecting a 3-4 months wait for a new one. It came in today’s (Sept. 2) mail. Seems that the passport office is out from under the summer rush.
And not to brag, but my photo is the best one I’ve ever had on a passport and I get to keep it for 10 years.
