I'd be concerned that it doesn't have air conditioning - Bologna gets really hot and humid, even in September. For a one-star hotel, it looks pricey as well. If you're staying for several nights (or 2 weeks), I would agree with Ian about finding a vacation rental apartment.does anyone know anything about Hotel Perla in Bologna? or have a suggestion for a hotel or an apartment in the center, hopefully 200euro or less, 2 weeks beginning 7 Sept ... thanks!
The thing that often compounded the a/c issue was that opening the screenless windows to cool the room often resulted in spending the night with mosquitoes buzzing around your head.If there are “hot sleepers” in your party this is not trivial. Hotel listings may say a/c available. They don’t write “when we are allowed to use it.” If this is a concern, you might want to look for lodging that says something along the lines of “in room” or “individually controlled“ a/c.
