@Shannon and I wanted to let everyone know that our two travel companies, European Experiences and GrapeHops, will be exhibiting together again at a Travel and Adventure show, this time at the Los Angeles show, February 18-19, at the LA Convention Center. We'll also sharing information about the other members of the Slow Travel Tours group.
We had a great time last year at the Washington DC show and are looking forward to being together on the West Coast to meet up with travelers, friends, and new people.
The LA show is the largest show in the USA and will feature hundreds of destinations, travel experiences, and experts (including Rick Steves and Andrew Zimmern). In addition to the exhibitions, there are seminars, cultural performances, culinary demonstrations, and door prizes. If you haven't been to a travel show before, they're fun and informative.
We have VIP passes to share with our friends and travelers, and we'd love to offer Slow Europe members who live in the area a pass for yourself as well as one for a travel-loving friend. The normal ticket price is $11-15 for a one-day admission. Please let me know how many passes you would like... I'll need your email address to send you the info. It's best to ask soon, as we have 150 tickets to pass out and it's first come/first served.
We'll be at booth 457 (registered to European Experiences), along with my husband Charley. If you're in the LA area, we hope you'll visit us to say hello, learn more about what we're doing, and share in the fun. Charley and I are doing a drawing for a Provence gift basket, and I think Shannon said something about wine samples for our friends who stop by.
