So glad to find this site and to see Pauline and Steve are still going strong and continuing to spread their travel wisdom and connecting people who love travel! I was an early member of slowtrav.com (from 2001 I believe) and absolutely loved the community that existed in those early days of travel websites. It looks as though that community continues here.
I work in real estate in the SF Bay Area with my partner Rob. Our favorites areas to travel are Italy (going in October, 2024), France, England, Thailand and Bali. We are kind of stuck in a rut as far as where we travel but it's been a pretty good rut so far.
