Scotland North Coast 500 Scotland

Last year at the end of May we took on the iconic NC500 in Scotland wild camping and road tripping around the whole of Scotland's North Coast. As the summer is fast approaching we thought this trip report may spark some inspiration for people to get out there and experience our favourite drive we have ever done! We found May to be a perfect time to do the drive as the weather was great and there were no midges around either! I've enjoyed reading about your trip and the pictures. Over the years we've driven much of this route but in different stages, never all in one go. There is so much to see and enjoy. We arrived just as the ferry to Cape Wrath was about to depart, so were lucky to have been able to do this.

Thanks, Elanor! Ah nice, yeah it is such a great route. We are definitely going back to do it again in the near future and check out all the other bits we missed! Such stunning scenery, sometimes its hard to believe you are in the UK at times!
