Here's a photo of some boat houses along the canals in Amsterdam. Some of them look pretty cool and spacious. This one in the photo even has a bench on the roof for chilling.

This poor, sad, abandoned mini palazzo in Venice in 2010. I wonder if it has ever been restored, or just sunk away slowly into the canal. I believe it was somewhere in Dorsoduro near where we stayed.

So Kathy here is a house for those who do not want to live on a boat in Amsterdam. Great views and after cutting grass for 9 hours this weekend at home... I LOVE the yard... Like None. Waterfront and no grass! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
