I stayed at the Victoriei Radisson apartment between September 9 and 29, 2015.

The Victoriei Radisson apartment is located in the heart of Bucharest, literally within two minutes' walk from the Romanian Atheneum (Ateneul Roman) concert hall and maybe 3-5 minutes from the Palace Concert Hall (Sala Palatului), the Royal Palace and its three art museums, many art galleries, the Museum of Collections and other art museums, very close to the supermarkets and banks in Piata Amzei and just as close to the Cismigiu Park, a jewel of green space in the center of the city, as well as the Great Boulevards of Bucharest and their metro stations. The historic centre is maybe 15 minutes away, a pleasant stroll along the prime locations of the city. Note: to these experienced travellers, the Bucharest taxis count as the least expensive and most honest we have met anywhere, a good thing for people with walking restrictions.

The apartment is on the second floor European, third floor North American, in an 8 stories building serviced by an elevator. The entrance to the building is from Bucharest's flagship street Calea Victoriei. It is a clean, quiet and safe building, in a safe location. Despite the high traffic, particularly during Bucharest's rush hours, there was minimal noise penetration thanks to the modern windows.

The apartment is very large: two large bedrooms, ditto for the kitchen and the living room. There is a full bathroom, and a half bathroom. The kitchen is well supplied with all necessary implements. The furniture, cabinets and appliances are modern and fully functional. The TV has access to many channels and the wifi worked well. I must mention that the rental company went out of their way to arrange for my wife the addition of a special TV channel (Mezzo) of great interest to her, at no additional cost to us. Both bedrooms as well as the living/dining room receive plenty of natural light during the day thanks to the large, wide windows. At night, blinds offer privacy.

The beds were comfortable. Linens, pillows, covers, were all of good quality. Towels were provided with generosity and the cleaning service, which we used once over a period of three weeks, was efficient.

But the best "feature" of the apartment was the personal attention and interest with which we were greeted and accommodated by Mr Robert Stefan, the colleague of Ms Doina Balaneanu. Mr Stefan responded promptly whenever we had a question or a special requirement, and helped us personally with carrying luggage both at arrival and departure, as well as making all necessary arrangements for transfer and reception at arrival and transfer at departure. If we wanted or needed something, all we had to do was to contact Mr. Robert Stefan. Thank you, Mr Robert Stefan!

Victoriei Radisson was one of the top apartments we rented in the past 15 years. We would not hesitate to return, and we highly recommend it to others!
