Several years ago I was training to make the pilgrimage on the camino di Santiago di Compostela in Spain but family needs got in the way. Now that I'm free to travel again Covid has slowed me down, but someday (soon, I hope) that will be a painful memory. I still plan on the camino but lately I've been learning more about the pilgrimage routes in Scotland, the Way of St. Andrew.
I'm wondering if anyone here has done all or part of these routes? I've only been to Scotland once but I was entranced and intend to go back and I'm thinking that incorporating part of the pilgrimage would be an interesting way to see something other than the usual tourist spots.
