United Airlines Announces Daily Nonstops between SFO and FCO beginning May 25,2023

Well, then they'd better get their **** together because they are still having flights canceled and delayed. We spent two hours on the tarmac in Chicago waiting for a slot to disembark after our flight from Frankfurt. (The Lufthansa flight crew said they had never had to do that before in decades of flying between the lot of them). I, and many other passengers consequently missed our connections and I had another 4 hour wait on that last leg home. So, as I mentioned, United has a lot of organizing to do......

ITA Airways (Alitalia successor, the mini Al-ITA-lia) has also announced new service on this route starting next summer, and they'll be using very new or brand new aircraft.
