Heya, Rick. I can’t help with Cadiz, but was in Cordoba earlier this year and it’s fantastic. If you have access to the NYTs, it has a “36 hours in” column on Cordoba that hits the highlights. As with many Spanish cities, It’s a great city just to walk around in; the cathedral (once a huge mosque), the Roman bridge, and the Jewish section are amazing. Cordoba has a bunch of boutique hotels; we stayed at the Hotel Boutique del Posadero; C/Mucho Trigo, 21 - Calleja del Posadero 14002 (34 957 941 733), which i recommend (staff and meals are wonderful). I had one of the best meals of my trip at Restaurante Sociedad Plateros de Maria Auxiliadora, which we located only because they have many gluten-free options that my wife needed (Amaltea is another restaurant that we wanted to try but our scheduling didn’t match up). A seriously beautiful place. Please have a wonderful and safe trip.
