decisions decisions! We could leave London for Braintree and pick up a car there, or pick up our car in Bath on the way to the Cotswolds. I wonder if there's a hefty surcharge for returning a rental car to a different location? I'm thinking we could pick up the car in Bath, have our week in the Cotswolds, 4-5 days somewhere else, then head to Braintree and drop off the car there before returning to London for our final few days?
Of course we still have to decide where that other rental (after the Cotswolds) will be. Art's thinking Windermere, but I'm completely undecided. I have noticed that in England rentals don't seem to be as limited to a full week like they are in Italy. Lots of places have a 3 night minimum, but that wouldn't be a problem for us.
