Yes. Currently in a pub in Hampstead watching the Newcastle football match with my husband and his college friend from their days at the former Westfield College in Hampstead. Thanks for the hotel recommendation. We are very happy with the choice. Also thanks to @PatrickLondon for your advice. I was able to create my tfl account once in country.

I’m so glad to hear that. You picked a good time both weather and public transport wise.
Hotel’s concept is a simple one really but I love the location & I’ve always been comfortable but I hate the battleship grey paint everywhere!
