I am envious! Pienza is one of my favorite towns in the Val d’Orcia. We were there last October on a beautiful, warm Fall day. Before that, it was a cool, cloudy, late March visit. I love visiting any time of the year!
Where are you eating? We always enjoyed Latte di Luna, but have stayed away in recent visits due to some negative reviews from friends who live locally. We ate at La Terrazza del Chiostro in October, 2017…very small portions for the price, but the view from the terrace was lovely.

La Terrazza near the main entrance? If so we were told it’s under new management a year ago. I’ll put some details in reports but we ate at Fiorella’s, Rossellino’s and Piccolomini.
