Hi, I love the concept of slow travel and also solo travel. I'm a more mature traveler and always looking for tips and advice for that demographic. I've been fortunate enough to visit 5 different countries so far: Italy (twice), Spain, Ireland, Scotland, and Germany. I like the "home base" style of travel rather than pulling up stakes every 2 days. I like to get to know a place and take day trips. I'm looking forward to reading and participating on this forum.
