Hi All, I am from South Louisiana. I've taught French for 30 years and I'm retiring in May! I've traveled to Europe many times, first as an exchange student in high school, then a summer semester in college. I took a 10 year hiatus to have three daughters and once they were old enough, I began to travel again. I participated in a few summer teacher language trainings, and then I took a high school position where I began chaperoning groups of students to Europe. My final school trip will be in April 2020 to Italy and Greece. After I retire, I plan to do more traveling--at a slower pace. My best memories are from trips where I could spend ample time to savor the places I visited. My first retirement trip is to Rome, Assisi, and Venice in September 2020. Thanks for welcoming me here!
