Traveling to Malaga in late October. We plan to fly into Madrid and then take the bullet train to Malaga. What is the best way to transit from the airport to train station? And how long does it take?

Thanks, great info.
After travelling all night we have found it easier to get a cab and hit the easy button.
We have taken the train from the airport to Atocha station downtown and it was pretty straight forward. We arrived o'dark thirty and had to sit on the train for about 45 minutes waiting for the first departure.
I would highly recommend that you pre-purchase your ticket to Malaga if you have not already. Saves a lot of confusion on zombie day. ( day of arrival after a red eye )
