Italian Media is reporting that ITA Airways will reprise two North American destinations previously served by Alitalia:
CHICAGO starting April 7, 2024; and
TORONTO starting May 1, 2024.
All flights will fly to these two cities from ROME FCO.
Alitalia began serving Chicago in 1962 but suspended service for about seven years in the mid-1970s and again just prior to the Covid epidemic.
Alitalia began serving Toronto in the early 1970s but suspended service several years ago. Alitalia also used to serve Montreal but terminated those flights quite a few years back.
