We visited Pompeii one year and a few years later, visited Herculaneum - we were lucky to see Pompeii before all the rains a few years ago. I liked seeing both of them but particularly Herculaneum. Thanks for your pics.

Great idea, now you have me torn between seeing Naples and Procida and going to Sardinia!!! We only have 6 days [unlike lucky you!] so we'll have to decide which one to see.

I think we're going to do Sardinia some other day but it's good to have this info for future trips. Now to figure out our itinerary! So many places, so little time.
