Help Needed Rome apartment

Jim, this apartment has been very popular with Slow Travelers over the years. I actually lived in this apartment for 3 months when I first moved to Rome 7 years ago (and had rented other apartments from the owner, Natalia). I am sure that you will enjoy it, and Monti, very much. it's a monolocale, or bachelor apartment, so rather small but really well equipped. The streets around can get really noisy but once you close the shutters, the apartment is very quiet.

Natalia used to have her own apartment rental agency, Dolce Roma, which seems to have disappeared -- Pauline was recently wondering if anyone had been in touch with Natalia. Good to know that she is still in business!

Cheers,
Sandra

Where ever you stay, here's a practical tip: Many owners will offer a discount if you pay in cash. That's what we did in Rome though in a different neighbourhood. The savings meant even more spent on incredible food, wine and more creative ways to make a delicious brew of cold coffee than there are ruins in Rome.
