Temporary ban on cheese / meat coming into UK

Due to recent outbreaks of foot and mouth disease in continental Europe, dairy / meat foods are temporarily not allowed to be brought into the UK (even if in shrink wrap or bought in duty-free). No end date projected at this stage.

People coming into Great Britain can no longer bring cured meats or cheese from the EU following an outbreak of foot and mouth disease.
