We are going into a countrywide lockdown again, starting Thursday November 4 until December 2. It will not be as severe as the first one in March through June, and will be shorter. Our Covid numbers are rising and projections look like it will be worse than earlier this year. Even where we live, in the southwest, numbers are rising when we were not really hit before.
No travel out of the UK, no travel within the UK, non-essential shops closed, restaurants and pubs closed except for takeout. Schools stay open this time. No socialising but it is a bit more open than the first lockdown (you can meet-up with one person outside). Outdoor exercise is encouraged!! - as it should be.
We’ve been living lockdown-like anyway so it won’t effect us much, but it will be a big change for many.
