Waiting for eruption from Iceland Volcano

Here I sit with a flight to Switzerland booked for Friday waiting to see if that Iceland volcano is going to erupt. If it does, we could take the train. Four years ago we were in the US waiting for the skies to clear so we could fly to England, and worried that it would erupt while we were here covering England in ash. But it didn't and then we forgot all about that volcano until now.

I remember the one from 2010 - we were moving back to the US and luckily our flight was just a few days before the eruption. Good luck!

I've been watching it, too. When it erupted in 2010 I was waiting for all my tour guests to arrive. Everyone made it, "just" and we were good to go, but it was a bit nerve racking for a bit, as 2 people were traveling from Turkey.

And I leave from here in about a week for Italy, so was crossing my fingers that there would be no delays.
