What is your favorite Cotswold village?

So, though I'm off to Italy next week, we're beginning to plan our May 2015 Cotswold trip. I reviewed all this info and sent it on to my sister for her to read. She's not keen on driving but I think Pauline's right, get a car. I've driven in Scotland so I don't mind. She's a bit skittish but will just have to blindfold herself and hang on! Will keep you all posted!

Cheers,
Cheryl

Winchcombe and Northleach- both superb small towns, still workaday places, well away from the heaving crowds of tourists and silly knick-knacks!

We stayed in Stretton-in-Morton and loved it. Very tiny, maybe 350 residents with just a pub, not other commerce. Just on the edge of the Cotswolds. And only a few minutes from a larger town with more commerce, transportation hub, etc. Quite away from the tourists, which I most appreciated.
