It seems like an interesting angular building.I've been doing a google image seach on this. (It seems to be a popular photo shoot, but many descriptions are a bit vague - narrow house on a small canal sort of thing.
I found this picture and also this one. This website also has a copy of the picture and describes it as 'Just below the Ponte dei Carmini is a picturesque building overlooking a narrow canal' . I've identified the place on google maps and you can see the image here. The sign on the house reads Calle S Provolo.
