A side chapel -

I can tell by the name of the photo which showed up in the email alert, that it is in Paris. But I don't know the church.

I have no idea but it's gorgeous...and the guy holding up that pulpit? his back must hurt LOL (that's how I feel in the morning....ouch)! :D

I do know where it is, but only by using Google, I've never been there.
Having said that, once of last month's photos is a place I must walk past 4 or 5 times a year, and I didn't recognise it !

Well it has to be in Europe!

I know that because it always seems that every church Europe has scaffolding set up right where you want to take your picture. :snaphappy: :arghh: :grumpy:

I didn't take a picture of it, but after many years of boarding & scaffolding in front of Stazione Porta Nuova (Torino), I almost forgot to look at it last month. When I did - WOW! It really is utterly stunning, but it had been so long since I'd seen it (and then presumably it would have been quite faded) that it was very much like seeing it for the first time.

It is definitely Europe. I have a couple of inside shots, but not sure if they will tell you much more. I'll post more of the city tomorrow if nobody gets it.

I have not given up on this game. Just can never guess any of them. I obviously made my first entry much to easy!

Pauline, thanks for changing the first thread to March 2017. I thought about that later on but it was too late to edit it.

Just for Ian (we also passed close by the station in September, and I agree - impressive after the renovation!) :

Ahh… the Grimm’s fairy tale statue puts the church in Bremen.
St Peters Cathedral - Bremen

Correct!

I was going to post this, slightly more obscure statue of the "musicians", but I didn't want to drag it out too much. (The Green and White probably indicates the football colours of Werder Bremen)

The Pigs and swineherd statue is in Sögestraße , the site of a market since the 13th Century
