The Lagoon...
Went to the Rialto market to take pictures instead of shop. 
Campo San Stefano at mid-day today. A tyke learning how to ride a trike on a beautiful sunny day.
We are home for a week now and missing Venice. At the same time, we don't want to be there during Carnevale.
We went shopping today at the farmers' market and Trader Joe's. Wishing we are close to the Rialto.

Hi Christy! My sister Liz and I will be there for the first 2 nights of Carnevale this year - Feb 8th and 9th. I'm arriving January 26th. I do not like crowds but it's something I have wanted to see. Just read that you do not like being in Venice during this time. Are the crowds truly unbearable?

Unbelievable photos! Did you use a tripod or any other support more than just leaning on a lamppost as I do? But you've made me a believer. I will buy at least a unipod
Thank you. And no, I did not use a tripod or any other support. I took the photos with my iPhone 7+.
